Symbiosis EU is a dedicated distribution business who specialise in the identification, promotion and distribution of professional video based products and tools to the European, Middle East and African markets.
Our strength comes from our in-depth knowledge and passion for the products we distribute. This is further supported by the core team who have all worked in the post-production, video and multimedia industries for the last 15 years.
In July 2011, Anthony Pidgeon was appointed as Managing Director,
taking over the day-to-day running of Symbiosis. Simon Crompton and
Jane McNeill remain as founding Directors and principle shareholders -
concentrating now on the future direction and continued growth of Symbiosis.
Symbiosis EU provide:

- A complete logistics service to better support existing products already being sold into the European dealer channel
- A single point of contact for dealers looking for emerging and existing video products
Our Background
Symbiosis was formed in 1992 by Simon Crompton and Jane McNeill . With each being from an industrial design/engineering background, Symbiosis originally specialised in the provision of 3D visualisation, animation, video production and interactive services. Symbiosis expanded In 1996 with the formation of our training and sales divisions - these formed in order to better support the needs of our corporate clients. For a number of years we were the top reseller for Media100 within the UK.
Our distribution business - Symbiosis EU was started in 2005 following the disposal of our reseller business. As former resellers we understand the needs of end users and have an in-depth knowledge of the markets and the end-user benefits to be obtained through the early adoption of emerging technologies.
Symbiosis Training
In addition to our distribution business, we also run a dedicated training company - Symbiosis.com .
The Symbiosis training division has been running since 1996 and originally enabled a process of ‘skills transfer’ to our corporate clients. As both an Adobe and Apple Authorised Training Centre, our aim is to provide appropriate, professional training in the use of the leading creative software packages - whether for print, interactive media, the web, video or mobile applications.
We have 2 fully kitted out training rooms - the largest of which allows hands-on training for up to 12 people, or 20 - 25 people in a seminar environment.
These facilities and our central location, enable us to run dedicated dealer training events.
